William “Bill” R. Gross
age 79, of Eaton, finished his race and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
He was born on February 27, 1946, to the late Raymond and Ruth (Constable) Gross, in Richmond, Indiana.
Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Ronnie Gross, Jim Gross, and Arlie Gross, and his sister, Connie Gross.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Charlene; his son, Billy Gross Jr,; stepson, Christopher (Maggie) Smith; step-grandchildren, Aaron Smith and Riley Smith; siblings, David Gross, Stephen Gross, and Harry Gross; special friends Kevin and Julie Potts; and his cherished church family and friends.
Bill was a hard worker who dedicated 35 years of his life to Smith Dairy. He loved his little church in the woods, Connersville Unity Holiness House of Prayers. In his free time, he enjoyed watching crime dramas such as Matlock and Blue Bloods.
Bill Gross will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his faith, and his community. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched, and the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held Wednesday April 2, from 2PM to 4PM at PREBLE MEMOR GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria. Funeral Services will begin at 4PM with Pastor Nicky Spicer with interment to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
