Sherri Lynn Bowman

Sherri Lynn Bowman, 52, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away early Saturday morning, October 11, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton, following a one year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born July 25, 1962 in Newcastle, IN, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth B. Mers and Mildred Pauline (Thompson). Mostly a mother and homemaker, she formerly worked three years for Twin Valley Publications in West Alexandria and also three years for Speedway in Eaton and New Lebanon. Sherri attended the Eaton First Church of God and enjoyed photography. She is survived by husband of 31 years Roy A. Bowman: sons Eric R. Bowman and Andrew J. Bowman, both of West Alexandria: brothers Jim Smith of Richmond, IN and Rock Mers of Indianapolis, IN. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services 12:00 pm Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Grubb presiding.
