Shari Lynn Simpson, 61, was reunited in heaven with her beloved parents and brothers, on Saturday September 5, 2026, and together they are once again a complete family.

Shari was born on February 11, 1965, in Xenia, Ohio, to the late Phillip and Barbara (Murtland) McDonald; along with her parents, she was proceeded this year in death her brothers, Daniell McDonald and David McDonald. She was a cherished daughter and sister.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, William Simpson; daughter, Katrina Eddy (Deven) Covington; and granddaughter, Braylynn Nicole.

Shari worked as a medical assistant for many years, devoting her time, love and energy to patients. In her free time, Shari loved to quilt and was an amazing cook. She enjoyed long walks and was always down to earth. Shari embraced time with her family soaking up every moment.
