Selma Louise Chipman

was born on February 26, 1934 in Covington, KY and passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the age of 91.

Selma was the daughter of William C. Dietz and Nellie Elaine Marks Dietz. She was a member of Pentecostal Church. She showed horses for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winston M. Chipman died 12-16-2003; son, Gregory Lee Chipman; stepson, Lloyd Chipman; stepdaughter, Marsha Ann Clark; brother, William J. Chipman; and sister, Lavera Jackson.

Survived by: daughter Sherrie Chipman York of Jamestown TN; grandchildren Connie Allen (Eugene) Wheeler of Gainesboro TN, Carrie Pennington of Jamestown TN, Charity Marie (James) Taylor of Germantown OH, Gregory Lee (Katey) Chipman, Jr of Germantown OH, Brian Marshall (Kimberly) York of Springfield TN; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; Special Friends Mary Peters and Ed Nunn.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 8, 2025 at at 1pm at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center and Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio.
