Sarah L. Sparrow

Sarah L. (McMurray) Sparrow, 29, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Born March 1, 1987, she was the daughter of David A. and Cynthia A. (Ankney) McMurray. She was a graduate of Twin Valley South High School and had worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant. Her greatest joy was being at home with her children. Sarah is survived by husband Jason A. Sparrow; children Clevee Sparrow, Luke Pack and Jayce Sparrow; parents David and Cindy McMurray; sister Cynthia Heath; paternal grandmother Jewel McMurray; maternal grandparents Florence and Don Wilson, and Jerry and Rosemarie Ankney; mother-in-law Deb Sparrow; brothers-in-law Aaron Voland and Jeremy Stumbo; grandparents-in-law Dewey and Paulen Griffith; nephews-in-law and niece-in-law Taylor and Aiden Voland, and Jonah and Aria Stumbo; aunt-in-law Vickie Shaffer and cousin-in-law Shawn Shaffer; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather Joe McMurray. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Lena Howard presiding.
