Sandy K. Shiverdecker
77 of Brookville, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
She was born August 23, 1948 in Dayton to the late Robert and Gladys Shiverdecker.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Shiverdecker of Brookville; traveling buddies, Jim and Toby Tiege; and many cousins.
Sandy was a member of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club, the Dayton Hockey Booster Club, holding several offices, and worked in the office for the Dayton Demons at the Dayton Demolition Hockey Teams where she traveled all over the United States to watch them play. She retired from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office as a secretary. Sandy enjoyed scrapbooking and making crafts with cards.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 22 from 10AM to 11AM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER West Alexandria. The funeral service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Ben Myers officiating. Sandy will be laid to rest at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery beside her parents.
