Paul T. Rogers

78, of Eaton, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 13, 2026.

He was born January 7, 1948, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Ralph E. and Ruth E. (Jennings) Rogers.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce Rogers, Ralph Rogers, Jr., and Donald Rogers; sister, Juanita Rogers; and special cousin, Judith Denlinger.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Marie A. (Wilkinson) Rogers; daughters, Andrea (Anthony) Crouch and Shannon (Michael) Cromer; stepsons, Rod (Nicole) Heindl and Dave (Cherokee) Heindl; grandchildren, Ashley (Juka) Cassimiro, Brendan (Shannon) Avery, Evan Cook, Karlie (Nick) Brown, Olivia Cook, Denise Campbell, Alex Cook, Shayla Campbell, Lily Cromer, Wes (Kelsie) Heindl, Kaylyn Heindl, Zach Denny, Kaylee (Brandon) Heindl, David Heindl and Desiray Heindl; 8 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; and siblings, Sally (Buzz) Klinski and Sam (Glenda) Rogers.

Paul will be remembered as a man of service, dedication, and quiet generosity. A respected member of his community, he proudly served as Past Master of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge #82 and was deeply involved in numerous Masonic bodies, including Chapter Preble Council 135, Commandery 75, Eaton Chapter 22, the Gleaners Eastern Star, Antioch Shrine—where he was a past president of the Rovers—and the 32nd Degree Scottish Rite in Dayton.

Paul devoted much of his working life to Baxter Healthcare, where he was employed for 20 years, before retiring as a skilled machinist from Timken. He also served his community as a Special Deputy Sheriff under Sheriff John Stover and volunteered as a firefighter in Eldorado during the 1970s.

An avid outdoorsman, Paul found great joy in hunting and fishing, spending countless hours outdoors doing what he loved. Known for his kindness and compassion, he quietly gave back by supporting multiple local food banks. His legacy is one of commitment, brotherhood, and generosity, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 16 from 5PM to 7PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria, with a Masonic Service to begin at 7PM. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 17 at 1PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
