Patricia C. Gilbert

Patricia C. Gilbert, 82, of Farmersville, OH, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 27, 2016. Born May 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Gordon & Viola (Miller) DeWeese. Mrs. Gilbert was a longtime member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Farmersville. She played the pitching position in ladies softball church league and other leagues for over 21 years; was a member of the Farmersville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; and was an avid pet lover. Survived by husband Douglas E. Gilbert whom she married December 23, 1957; and daughter Theresa J. Dill of Farmersville. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Ron Dafler presiding, and conclude with closing ceremonies at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
