Nelson D. Weatherly

Nelson D. Weatherly, age 54 , of New Paris, OH gained his wings Friday, November 3, 2023. He was born in Kettering, OH to David and Betty (Beams) Weatherly on August 12, 1969.

Nelson was a family oriented and fun-loving man, he enjoyed being a DJ and karaokeing… you would often hear him sing “Can I have this dance” by Ann Marie. One of his favorite things to do was go fishing, for anything that would bite, even if it were a water moccasin! He enjoyed camping and bonfires with his family and friends, and would travel to Georgia to see his buddies, and also the lovely beaches. Nelson was a EMT/firefighter for 30 years, he started out at Lewisburg, then went to work for West Manchester. He was a special man who will be missed by those who knew him.

Nelson is preceded in death by his grandparents and dad. He is survived by his mom, his sister; Ronda (Eddie) Isbell, his brother; Kenny Weatherly, his half-sister; Shelley (Mike) Lamb, Nieces; Jennifer and Jessica and nephew; James, along with several other nieces and nephews, his first ex-wife; Gina (Chuck) Wells, and his second ex-wife; Heather (Carlos) Ramos, his special friend; Jessica Phillips, along with Pastor Jerry (Betty) Carter.
