Michael Chasteen

Michael G. Chasteen, 65, formerly of New Lebanon, OH, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away Saturday morning, April 12, 2014 at his Florida home. Born June 24, 1948, he was a son of the late Melvin Gerald & Kathryn (Shannon) Chasteen. Michael was a 1968 graduate of Dixie High School in New Lebanon and medically retired from the Inland Division of General Motors in Dayton. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Survived by wife Beverly S. (Weddle) Chasteen whom he married April 8, 1998: son Joseph Lindsey & wife Cassie of OK: step son Jack Womble of New Lebanon: grandchildren Andrew and Aaron Lindsey of TN, Brittany Byrom, James Todd, Zoe Lindsey and Greenlee Lindsey all of OK: great grandchildren Aleah and Maisen Lindsey of TN: sisters and brother Carolyn (Rich) Carroll of West Alexandria, OH; Dale (Bonnie) Chasteen of Eaton; Vicki (Leonard) Eubank of West Alexandria; Cheryl Chasteen of Dayton; Diane Chasteen of Kettering, OH: sisters-in-law Lisa Weddle & family of Moraine, OH and Marsha Garland of Greenville, OH: numerous nieces and nephews.
