Matthew Ryder

Age 41, of New Lebanon, Passed away suddenly on Monday July 27th, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital.

Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Benny Ryder and maternal grandparents, Jay and Bevlah Walden.

He is survived by his loving mother, Georgie Ryder; brother, Micheal Ryder; half-sister, Jill Ryder; aunt, Ruchie; aunt and uncle, Faye and Robert Garwood; his special friend and co-worker, Chris R.; along with many other family members and friends, who will miss him dearly.

For the past several years, Matthew worked at Chris Color Works and Collision in Trotwood, where he was a dedicated employee and valued co-worker. He had a natural talent for technology and was known for being exceptionally tech-savvy. Matthew enjoyed anything electronic, from computers to video games, and his passion for gaming was evident in the six drawers filled with computer and video games he had collected over the years.

A quiet and private person by nature, Matthew was content spending time with his hobbies and interests. Though he preferred to keep to himself, those who knew him appreciated his intelligence, kind heart, and willingness to help whenever he could.
