Mary F. Johnson

Mary F. Johnson, age 81, of Eaton, OH, passed away Saturday evening, December 28, 2013. Born in Richmond, KY, she was a daughter of the late William & Geneva (Cox) Powell. Mary was a 1951 graduate of Eaton High School and served many years on the Class Alumni Committee. She worked for 25+ years as a cashier for Truck Stops of America in Eaton, and was a longtime member of the Eaton Baptist Temple. A former Rosey Red, she was an enthusiastic fan of Cincinnati Reds baseball. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister Wanda Jean Powell. Survived by husband Delmus Johnson: children Claudia A. Johnson-Day of Cincinnati; William C. & Rhonda Johnson of New Paris, OH; and Michael D. & Mary Johnson of Mesquite, NV: grandchildren Cristie Day, Chris Webb, Ryan Day, Cole Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Lindsey Johnson: and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
