Mark R. Riley

Mark R. Riley, 57, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away Saturday morning, August 11, 2018, following a lengthy illness. Mark had worked in construction for many years and had also worked as the Maintenance Director for the nursing home in New Lebanon for 14 years, and later in the Maintenance Department at Cargill in Dayton. In earlier years, he was a volunteer firefighter for Madison Twp. from 1975 - 1983. He was the kind of guy that could build or fix about anything; and his hidden talent was sewing. He is preceded in death by mother Ruby N. (Lamons) Ritchie; step father John Edward Ritchie; sister Susan Watson; and father-in-law Thomas Pridemore. Survived by wife Marcia L. (Pridemore) Riley whom he married November 26, 1983; son and daughter-in-law Mark R. and Emily Riley of Centerville; brothers Earl and Dennis Riley; mother-in-law Kay Pridemore of New Lebanon; sister-in-law Carrie Brown and fiancé Jesse Mattson of Cincinnati; brother-in-law Thomas Pridemore and wife Maria of Houston, TX; nephews Cody, Carson and Colt Reynolds; best friend Tracey "Bubba" Clark and wife Michelle; adoptive kids David Neaves of Kentucky and Dustin Zimmer of West Alexandria; numerous other special friends and family; and Mark's 4 legged friend and sidekick Bonnie. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
