Mark E. Althouse

Mark E. Althouse, age 77, of New Lebanon, OH, went home to be with the Lord suddenly on Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2013. Mark was born in Laura, OH, a son of the late Grover & Anna (Schafer) Althouse. He retired end of December 1998 from Delco Products in Kettering; and had previously worked 17 years for NCR in Dayton. A member of the Eaton First Church of God, Mark was a Trustee for 6 years and served the Lord by his involvement in various Church work projects. Survived by wife Carol F. (Ludy) Althouse, whom he married August 4, 1956: daughter & son-in-law Anita and Don Beare of New Lebanon; son & daughter-in-law Jeffrey & Elizabeth Althouse of Tupelo, MS: grandchildren Amy Beare of Columbus, OH; Brent Althouse of Tupelo, MS; and Dustin (Beth) Zimmer of West Alexandria, OH: great grandchildren Lucy Nicole and Annie Jo Zimmer: sister Helen Longnecker of Sidney, OH: brothers Dalone Althouse of Greenville, SC; and Roger (Lillian) Althouse of Crossville, TN. Funeral services 11:00 am Wednesday at the Eaton First Church of God - 601 E. Lexington Rd. - Eaton, OH. Friends may call on the family at the Church from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday and 10:00 - 11:00 am Wednesday.
