M. Eileen Washington

M. Eileen Washington Age 87, of West Alexandria, passed away peacefully Monday, September 17, 2018. She was born June 18, 1931 in Lanier Township to the late Harry and Clara (Brinkhoff) Kesling. Eileen was a member of St. John Church, West Alexandria and a 65-year member and Past Worthy Matron of Gleaners Chapter #182 O.E.S. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harley; sister, Marie Toops; and brother, John Kesling. Eileen is survived by her children, David (Anne Marie) Washington and Jane (Gene Spurlock) Washington; grandchildren, Melinda Burr, Justin Washington, and Eric Washington; great grandchildren, Logan Deeter, Emma and Kennedy Burr, Layne, Grace, Kayla, and Kayson Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, September 21 from 10AM to 11AM at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street, West Alexandria, 45381. The funeral service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Mark Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens.
