Karl Rabold

Karl R. Rabold, 64, of Dayton, OH, passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, April 28, 2012. Born in Dayton, he was a son of the late Ormal L. & Gladys I. (Brelsford) Rabold. He was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson Twp. High School; 1970 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH; and a 1982 graduate of the Ohio Institute of Photography. Co-owner of Rabold Photography with his wife Betty for 30 years. He was most recently employed at PayLess Shoe Source Distribution Center in Brookville; and formerly employed by Emery Air Freight and Best Products. He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, and enjoyed playing in area volleyball, softball and bowling leagues. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother & his wife Roger & Shirley Rabold: and sister Kathleen Coffman. Survived by wife Betty A. (Emrick) Rabold whom he married October 25, 1975: children Adrian Rabold of Centerville, OH; Allison Rabold (Doug Reed) of Germantown, OH; Aaron (Desirae) Rabold of Alamogordo, NM; and Adam Rabold of Dayton: adored granddaughter Sydney Simon: brother-in-law Phillip Coffman of Farmersville, OH: numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Patty Matthews presiding. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 5:30 - 7:30 PM Thursday and from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Friday.
