Joyce P. Burnett

Joyce P. Burnett, 62, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away Monday evening, January 15, 2018. Joyce was born April 17, 1955 to Leo Joseph and Betty (Glock) Winhoven. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events. In earlier years, she was a caregiver for many neighborhood children in West Alexandria and was known and loved by members of her community. She is preceded in death by parents Leo and Betty. Survived by husband Jack A. Burnett whom she married in 1971; children Elisa Winhoven of West Alexandria, Lori Funkhouser and husband Shawn of New Lebanon, Jack A. Burnett, Jr. and Tammy Crider of Lewisburg, Kenneth Burnett and wife Nicole of Miamisburg, Rachel Saylor and husband Chris of Greenville; grandchildren Justin P. Funkhouser, LCpl. USMC, Zachery A. Funkhauser USMC Poolee, Kylie Ann Burnett, Kenneth A. Burnett, Jr., Brittany Saylor, Jakob Saylor, and Jesse Saylor; sisters and brothers Carol (Bob) Henson of Huber Heights, Tina (Larry) Looney of Huber Heights, Elizabeth (Steve) of Centerville, James (Emily) Winhoven of Chillicothe, Leo Winhoven of Dayton, Terry Winhoven of Dayton, Johnny Tom (Tonya) Winhoven of West Alexandria, Mark Winhoven of New Carlisle, Linda Hill of New Carlisle, and Alex Young of Dayton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January19, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Pastor Doug Bottles presiding.
