Jenny S. Harvey

Jenny S. Harvey, 76, of West Alexandria, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, October 29, 2013. Born in Hot Spot, KY, she was one of 13 children born to the late Charles & Atha (Collier) Miles. She grew up with and married the love of her life, Bobby Dean Harvey. They married November 9, 1953, and renewed their vows on their 50th anniversary, November 9, 2003. Jenny was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother; and was a caring Christian woman who knew and lived the Word of God. She kept a warm and comfortable home for her family. She earned a certification in interior design and was licensed to teach ceramics, making treasured keepsakes for both family and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobby Dean Harvey on April 21, 2011; parents Charles & Atha Miles: great grandson Alec Michael Harvey: and 10 brothers and sisters. Survived by children Bobby Dean Harvey, Jr. & wife Joy of Richmond, IN; Deborah J. Kenyon & husband Vince of Germantown, OH: grandchildren Richard J. Smith, Jr., Charles Jason Harvey, Deena Christine Smith and Jennifer Nicole Fisk: great grandchildren Ashley D. and Cody J. Smith, Megan D. and Dustyn R. Johnson, Cole, Bret J. and Matthew Dean Harvey, Tyra and Tammy Brown: great great grandson Joshua Dale, Jr: brother and sister Roger Miles, Sr. of Jeremiah, KY and Brenda J. Westfall of New Lebanon, OH: numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Todd Smith presiding. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
