Greg S. Allen
48, of West Alexandria, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 16, 2025.
He was born December 30, 1976, in Dayton, to the late Jim and Barbara J. (Bailey) Allen.
He is survived by his loving fiancée of 16 years, Maria Conley; sons, John Phillips and Vaughn Hale; siblings, Terry Allen, Diane Shade, Delores O’Dell, Shirley Dane, and Angie Stone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Greg was a man who found joy in the simple things—his home, his hobbies, and a good laugh. A true homebody at heart, he enjoyed spending time in his own space, surrounded by the things he loved most. His passion for Hot Rods was evident in both the real cars that caught his eye and the detailed model Hot Rods he carefully built and collected.
Greg had a great appreciation for humor and spent countless hours watching comedies on TV, finding delight in the laughter they brought. He had a laid-back spirit, a kind heart, and a love for the things that made life enjoyable in his own way.
Though he preferred the comforts of home, Greg’s presence left an impact on those around him, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest peacefully, forever cruising down open roads in his dream Hot Rod.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 21 at 11AM at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria, with Pastor David Spears officiating.
