Glenda S. Housewright

Glenda S. Housewright, 71, of Eaton, OH, passed away Thursday evening, December 4, 2014 at Vancrest Nursing Center in Eaton following an extended illness. Born May 14, 1943 in Surgoinsville, TN, she was a daughter of the late William & Virginia (Hagood) Burke. She was a member of F.O.E. # 2202 in Eaton and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #8066 in Eaton, and enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her parents, Glenda is preceded in death by husband Hugh E. Housewright, Jr. on October 5, 2007: sister Donna Bean and brother James Burke. She is survived by children Penny Housewright-Koch & husband Brent of West Alexandria; William Housewright & wife Cindy of Lewisburg, OH; Charles Housewright & wife Sarah of Eaton; and Kimberley Housewright of New Madison, OH: 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Pastor Deborah Richardson presiding. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
