Dorothy F. Ramsey

age 76, of Hillsboro, formerly of New Lebanon, was ready to meet Jesus on Thursday evening, December 11, 2025 when she was called Home. Dorothy's faith and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.

She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Roy and Dorothy (Hatfield) Shields; her twin brother Donald Ray, along with brothers, Roy Shields and Johnathon Shields. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Kenneth Ramsey; her beloved son, Kenneth Ramsey Jr.; and many cherished nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Those who knew Dorothy will remember her as a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a steadfast friend. She found joy in simple moments, cherished her family deeply, and lived her life with grace and compassion. Dorothy enjoyed reading and playing games on her phone.

Though she has departed this life, the love Dorothy shared remains a guiding light for her family and friends. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
