Dora L. (Cundiff) Frieszell
93, of Lewisburg, joined her loved ones in Heaven, Monday, April 6, 2026.
She was born August 18, 1932, in Dayton, to the late William A. and Anna M. (Griffith) Cundiff.
In addition to her parents, Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Buck” Frieszell; brother, Donald Cundiff; sister, Alice “Mae” Cundiff; son-in-law, Dale Severt; and grandson, Floyd Frieszell.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Melvin) Green, Sylvia Severt, and Roger Frieszell; grandchildren, Melvin (Michelle) Green, Jr., Kimberly (Wesley) Saul, Robert (Missy) Green, Sherrie Frieszell, Bridget (Zack) Severt, Ashley (Trent) Tatham, Josh (Rebecca) Frieszell, and Hanna Frieszell; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Robert) Duncan; and many nieces and nephews.
Dora will be remembered as a woman whose warmth and love for life could be felt by all who knew her. She found her greatest joy in the simple, beautiful moments—tending to her flower garden, working in the yard, and creating a home that reflected her caring spirit. Whether she was planting new blooms or enjoying a quiet afternoon outdoors, Dora took pride in making the world around her a little brighter.
When she wasn’t at home, Dora cherished her time away camping at Grand Lake St. Mary’s, where she found peace in nature and joy in the company of those she loved. Those trips were filled with laughter, stories, and memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Dora also had a special love for spending time with her family on girls’ trips, whether it was a day of shopping or an exciting outing to the casino. These moments were more than just outings; they were opportunities to bond, laugh, and create lasting memories together. Her presence made every trip more special, and her laughter was often at the heart of it all.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 10 from 11AM to 12PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria, with the funeral service to begin at 12PM. Dora will be laid to rest at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Buck.
