Donald S. Moore

Donald S. Moore, 85, a resident of Eaton, OH for 15 years, and former resident for 33 years of Liberty, IN, passed away Tuesday evening, February 5, 2019. Mr. Moore served from 1954 - 1956 with the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. He had worked as a Supervisor for NDM in Dayton; worked in home construction for many years; and retired as a co-owner of Greenskeeper Lawn Service. After retiring, he went back to work for Reid Hospital in Richmond in the hospital's laundry department, and re-retired after several years. He was a longtime member of the Liberty, IN Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by brothers and sister Robert, Charles, James and Ina Moore. Survived by beloved wife Carole M. (Duncan) Moore whom he married June 12, 1960; children Stephen Moore and wife Dyan of Holland, MI, and Barbara Caudill and husband Brian of Hamilton, OH; grandchildren Victoria and Simon Moore, and Hannah, Tyler and Amanda Caudill. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Sunday, February10, 2019 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35; West Alexandria, OH. The funeral service will follow at 2 :00 PM with Pastor David Soper presiding. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Church of Christ in Don's Memory.
