Diana L. Anderson

Age 84, of Bethel, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

She was born on September 20, 1941, in Greenville, to the late Alvin R. and Christella E. Fitzgerald.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Anderson; brother, Don Fitzgerald; and sister, Marsha Mills.

She is survived by her brother, Marc Fitzgerald; sons, John A. (Carolyn) Andersson and Barry D. (Eleanor) Anderson; grandchildren, Brooks (Summer) Andersson, Lilian Anderson, Julie Anderson.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Markwith Tool Company and Francis Furniture for many years. She served with Lewisburg Rescue as an EMT and later worked with Eaton Medical Transport, helping people when they needed it most. In recent years, she volunteered weekly at the Anderson Township Senior Center.

We are all appreciative that Diana gifted us with the fruit of her talents: lovely cross-stitch pieces, hand-sewn doll clothes, home-canned preserves, fresh garden produce, Christmas cookies, caramel corn, home-cooked meals, and amazing pies!

She was a woman of strong faith who loved Jesus and found great joy in serving others, caring for her family & cats, and making a difference in the lives of those around her.

Rest peacefully, Diana. Your work here is done, your garden is tended, and you are home with Jesus.

A Graveside service will be held at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, Green Burial Section, in West Alexandra, OH at 11am on Monday, August 31,2026. PMGFC.com
