Gray, Dean W.

age 90, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away on August 20, 2026.

Dean was born in Lebanon, OH on June 12, 1936, to Leslie and Wylodine (Frazer) Gray.

He graduated from Jefferson High School. Dean was a lifelong farmer and for several years also worked for AgRestore and did deliveries for Birchwood Genetics. He enjoyed big band music as well as regularly going dancing. He also greatly enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk show every Saturday night and being a snowbird in McAllen, Texas for several winters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Gray and sister Virginia Pittl.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret Gray, daughters Teresa Gray of Eaton, OH, Diane Gray of Franklin, OH, Valerie (Matt) Stockslager of Troy, OH, and granddaughters Brooke and Kayla Stockslager. He is also survived by his sisters Arlene Perkins and Marilyn Gray-Brock, and nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24 at 7PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5PM to 7PM.
