Darrell L. Brubaker

Darrell L. Brubaker, 81, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away Tuesday morning December 13, 2016 following a brief illness. Born July 30, 1935 in Preble County, he was the son of the late Ira H. & Lottie (Bowser) Brubaker. He was a member of the Lower Twin Old German Baptist Brethren Church, and in 1975 founded the Brubaker Grain and Chemical Company in Lanier Township. Mr. Brubaker's desire to serve his community was exhibited in how he lived his life. He enjoyed being a farmer and loved working with the ground. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister Wilma Jean Garber and grandson Denton Brubaker. Survived by wife Yvonne M. (Garber) Brubaker whom he married August 1, 1954; sons & daughters-in-law Gary & Pat Brubaker of Eaton, Galen & Connie Brubaker of West Alexandria, Greg & Becky Brubaker of Eaton, and Gene & Jenny Brubaker of Eaton; grandchildren Roland (Marla) Brubaker, Reuben (Beth) Brubaker, Ryan (Bethany) Brubaker, Rochelle (Jake) Wray, Rex (Molly) Brubaker, April (Curtis) Emig, Kandra (Dustin) Barnhart, Brenton (Sarah) Brubaker, Stacy (Kyle) Jones, Levi (Jennifer) Brubaker, Casey (Ryan) Jones, David Brubaker, Rose (Vernon) Denlinger, Krista (Evan) Bowman, and Julie (Titus) Landes; 52 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Lower Twin Old German Baptist Brethren Church - 6715 Quaker Trace Rd. - Camden, OH. Friends may call on the family at the Church on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday from 2:00- 5:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
