Clara "Connie" Marie Mccloud

Clara “Connie” Marie Hayes Dascenzo McCloud, 90, of Eaton, Ohio passed away Wednesday
morning, August 18, 2021 at Vancrest Health Care of Eaton. Born December 8, 1930 in Spice,
West Virginia, a small, unincorporated area in Pocahontas County. She was one of three children
born to the late William Ernest Hayes and Arta Lee (Wells) Hayes. She worked for 13 years as
an accountant for the City of Middletown, OH. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witnesses, Eaton Congregation. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on
February 26, 2015 by husband Paul R. McCloud, whom she married December 7, 1992. She
moved back to Ohio from Florida in 2015 after Paul’s passing. She is also preceded in death by
brother Gene William Hayes and sister Faye Lee Hayes.

Connie is survived by daughters Janis Marie Crager of South Point, OH and Joan Gail (Gerald)
Burnette of Gratis, OH; granddaughters Mariah Howard of Columbus, OH and Jennifer
(Timothy) Bush of Germantown, OH; and two great grandsons Wyatt and Lukas Bush of
Germantown.

Visitation for Connie is Private and burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH. A
memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2021 in a Zoom Meeting
through the Eaton Congregation’s Meeting ID.
