Clara M. Young

Clara M. Young, age 90, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, October 3, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born January 3, 1928, a daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys (Tracy) Shaw. Many years ago, she worked several years in the mail room of TruPhoto in Dayton. Clara enjoyed shopping, crochet, going to casinos and oil painting; and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8066 of Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by beloved husband Lowell G. Young, Sr. on June 23, 2003 and sisters Edythe Kucharski, Helen Achs, Virginia Scott, Daunna Johnston and Barbara Wilson. Survived by children Terri Davis of Eaton, Lowell Young, Jr. and wife Patricia of Ragley, LA, James Michael Young and wife Catherine of Magnolia, TX, and Debra Deeds and husband Glen of Carthage, TX; 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
