Charles E. Akers
Age 90, of West Alexandria, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 11th, 2023. He was born in Preble County, Ohio, to Lloyd Akers and Bessie (Lane) Akers on October 6th, 1932.
Charles served in the Army and after he was honorably discharged, he worked as a lineman for DP&L and coached girl's softball for 27 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing on Cumberland Lake.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, 7 siblings, and loving wife Dorothy. He is survived by his sister; Joanne (Richard) Dillon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place Friday, August 25 at 1PM at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
