Billy Ray Lawson

Billy Ray Lawson, age 78, of Lewisburg, Ohio, born at home on the 27th of February in 1943, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Frances Elmer Lawson and mother Catherine Thomas Lawson Rike; wife Teresa Giles Lawson; sisters Ruth Glascoe and Frannie Mehl; and step daughter Regina Adams. Survived by three sons Jeffrey Ray Lawson and wife Amy, William Edward Lawson and wife Jackie, and Mark Wayne (Terri) Lawson; step son Gary Giles; grandchildren Billie Jo Young, Sarah Lawson, Heather Gambrill, Chelsea Thwaits, Madison Meredith & Sydney Lawson; step grandchildren Cieara Brown, Garrett Adams and Jenna Giles; 19 great grandchildren; sister Shelby Alexander; and brother Mitchell Hunter. Bill worked as a welder, fork lift operator and assembler for Chrysler in Dayton for 30 years, served with the Army in Germany during the Vietnam war and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #295 F&AM in Arcanum. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Comprehensive Home Nurses and Davita of Greenville.
