Andrew "Andy" L. Vickers

Andrew "Andy" L. Vickers 80, of West Manchester, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 14, 2021. He was born July 25, 1940, in Dayton, to the late Jesse and Fannie (Payne) Vickers. In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cecily Leal; brother, James "Sid" Vickers; and sister, Hazel "Sue" Collette. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Leona Vickers; daughters, Rebecca (Benny) Leal, Lavonda (Tom) Morris, Jessica (Todd) Anderson, and Tessie (Scott) Moler; grandchildren, Kimberly (Justin) McGuire, Heather Stone, Yolanda (Randel) Jones, Tia Leal, Amy Leal, Daniel Morris, Sarah Morris-Hock, Rebecca (Jarod) Staats, Leona "Katie" Anderson, Todd "TJ" (Courtney) Anderson, Phillip (Brenna) Moler, Hannah Moler, Emily Moler, and Alexis Moler; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and brothers, Jack Vickers and Russell (Judy) Vickers. Andy was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was a founding member and deacon of the Eldorado Baptist Church, believed in Christ, Fellowship, Food, and Family, enjoyed collecting Christian Historical books, and had a photographic memory. The family will receive friends Friday, June 18 from 11AM to 12PM at Eldorado Baptist Church, 118 N. Main St., Eldorado, Ohio 45321. The funeral service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Scott Moler officiating.
