Alice Izor

Alice (Roesel) Izor, 81, formerly of Farmersville, OH, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. Born June 3, 1935 in Hamilton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Fred & Priscilla (Vowels) Roesel. She was a longtime member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church and had worked for 25+ years as a cook and server at Valley View High School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband James R. Izor on May 7, 2010: sister Lois Fisher and brother Bob Roesel. Survived by daughters Connie S. Izor of Farmersville; and Catherine A. Bryant & husband Ron of Carlisle, OH: grandchildren Matthew Izor, Brenda Bryant, Oscar Bryant, Ronnie (Ginger) Bryant and Debbie (Mike) Tooley: great grandchildren Tyler Tooley and Ashley Bryant; great great grandchildren Liam Bryant and Nicholi Tooley: sister Pat Roesel of California: and brother Fred (Garnet) Roesel of Indiana: numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday, June 28, at the St. Andrews Lutheran Church - 282 S. Broadway - Farmersville. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Lindstrom presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Memorial Fund or the Farmersville Fire Department.
