Alex Howard
4, of Camden, his uncle Zach came to get him to go to Heaven on February 8, 2025.
In addition to his uncle, Zach McIntosh, Alex was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Whitener; and cousin, Adina McIntosh.
He leaves behind his parents, Katie McIntosh and Elmer Whitener, Jr.; siblings, Ella McIntosh, Layla Whitener, and Isaiah Whitener; grandparents, Mary and John McIntosh; great grandma, Brenda Combs; uncle and aunt, John and Kelly McIntosh; and cousins, Owen and Ethen McIntosh.
Alex was fascinated by all things with wheels—trains, tractors, and trucks were his greatest joys. He could often be found right by his Uncle Zach’s side, eager to help work on bikes, his tiny hands always busy and his face lit up with excitement. A boy who loved the color green and the number 2, he insisted on always having two of everything and would proudly announce his age as "2+2," a tribute to his playful nature.
When he wasn’t outside chasing adventure, Alex could be found playing Minecraft and Rocket League, his giggles filling the room with warmth. His ornery grin, twinkling blue eyes, and head full of curls made him impossible to resist, and he knew just how to use his charm. A true mommy’s boy at heart, he was also a fierce protector of his siblings—small but mighty, always watching over those he loved.
Alex’s presence was a gift, a beautiful spark that touched everyone who knew him. Though our hearts ache with his absence, we find comfort in the countless memories he left behind—of love, mischief, and an unbreakable bond with those who adored him.
Fly high, sweet Alex. May you forever ride the fastest trains, drive the biggest trucks, and play among the stars. We will love you always.
