Honoring Veterans with Commemorative Flags

At Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center & Cemetery, our Honor a Veteran Program includes a unique way for families to pay tribute to their loved ones through our commemorative flag initiative. Families of veterans buried at PMG can purchase a flag, which is flown proudly out front for three years. Each flag has a personalized tag hanging from the pole, adding a special touch to the tribute. After three years, the flags are retired and given to the family or respectfully disposed of by the VFW. Starting in 2025, a new three-year cycle will commence. The estimated cost for this heartfelt tribute is $65 for three years. We also welcome families to purchase a flag for veterans who are not buried here, ensuring that all veterans can be honored in this meaningful way.
